Bellringing
Bellringing at Holy Trinity
Holy Trinity has a friendly and enthusiastic band of bellringers and are keen to welcome new people to join us.

We practice regularly on a Tuesday evening at 7.30pm and also run separate handbell sessions throughout the week. During the pandemic, we are holding our practices online or outside.
Please contact us for details if you would like to join us – we would love to see you!

The current 8 bells were cast by John Taylor & Co of Loughborough in 1921, though there have been bells at Holy Trinity since the Middle Ages.

As 2021 is the centenary of the recasting of the bells, we will be celebrating with exhibitions about the bells and bellringing in the church, museum and library. We are planning to hold a ‘Festival of Bells’ over the weekend of 17-18 July, with an opportunity to try ringing. Further details to follow.
