Jeremy gets his quarter

One of the first major landmarks in a ringing career is to ring a quarter peal. This takes about three quarters of an hour of constant concentration and steady bell handling.  It's a landmark that some ringers will never achieve!  On 7th August, Jeremy Knowles, after less than a year "covered" to a quarter of Plain Bob Doubles in fine style.

He is now eligible to become a fully qualified member of the Yorkshire Association of Change Ringers.  He is still a learner though!  All ringers are always still learners - there is always something new to try.

If you fancy having a go and to start learning this ancient and fascinating art, contact the Tower Captain - or just turn upon practice night (Tuesday at 7.30pm)
