Welcome to Holy Trinity, Skipton
|
Up,Up and Away! The once-a-month All-Age service at Holy Trinity Church in Skipton last Sunday (2nd June) ended with a great flourish as six beautiful white racing pigeons raced up into the sky – thanks to local trainer Martin Emmerson (in picture). The theme had been “The Trinity” and, as Rector Adrian Botwright said, the pigeons’ fast flight beautifully captured the sense of God the Trinity being present everywhere. This service takes place every month on the first Sunday at 11.30am… and word has it that the pigeons may be there again next time on 7th July. New Director of MusicWe are very keen to appoint a new Director of Music in succession to Michael Howell. |
